Refund and Returns Policy

At Brae & Brush, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind about an item bought through our website, or if there is a problem with your order, please contact us at hello@braeandbrush.com and we will be happy to help.

Returns if you change your mind

If you purchase an item online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your artwork, without having to give a reason.

If you decide to cancel your purchase, please contact us at hello@braeandbrush.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

Once you have told us that you wish to cancel, you must return the artwork to us within a further 14 days.

Returned items should be unused, undamaged and in their original condition and packaging where possible. You are entitled to handle an item as you would in a shop to check its nature, characteristics and how it works. However, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary and its value has been reduced as a result.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning an item when you change your mind.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and process your refund.

Where you have exercised your statutory right to cancel an online purchase, we will refund the purchase price and the cost of the standard delivery option you originally paid for. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we are only required to refund the cost of standard delivery.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method that you used to make the original purchase.

We will issue the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or earlier where required by law.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@braeandbrush.com if your order arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered.

Please provide your order details and, where appropriate, photographs showing the damage or problem. This will help us resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If an item is faulty, not as described or does not meet your legal rights, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances. These statutory rights are not affected by anything in this policy.

Where an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange an appropriate remedy and will cover reasonable return costs where applicable.

Sale items

Sale and reduced-price items have the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items.

If a sale item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet your legal rights, you will still be entitled to the appropriate remedy.

Original paintings and fine art prints

Our original paintings and fine art prints are carefully checked and packaged before dispatch.

Colours may appear slightly different on different screens and devices. This is not normally considered a fault where the artwork received corresponds to the product description and photographs provided on our website.

If an artwork arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the packaging and artwork so that we can assess the problem and arrange an appropriate solution.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item because you have changed your mind, please contact us at hello@braeandbrush.com before returning it.

Depending on availability, we may be able to arrange an exchange. Where an exchange is not possible, we will process a return and refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
